A Gift in your Will

Many Old Boxhillians, past parents, current parents, and friends in our wider community have expressed an interest in supporting Box Hill School, but not everyone can afford to make a donation at a time when there is the expense of bringing up a family or providing for retirement.

Making a gift in a Will is an alternative that provides a valuable source of funds for Box Hill School, with the added benefit to the donor that a gift to a registered charity is free of inheritance tax.  Just 1% of the residue of an estate can make a significant difference to us.

All donors who have included a gift to Box Hill School in their Will are invited to join The McComish Society, named in honour of the school’s founder and first headmaster, Roy McComish.

Members of the Society enjoy an annual luncheon and exclusive events.

If you have already prepared a Will and would like to add a gift to Box Hill School, you can do so easily by downloading and printing our Codicil Form.  Please remember that any Codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as your original Will.  The Codicil Form should be stored with the original copy of your Will.
