We are looking to recruit a Deputy Head – Pastoral and Safeguarding Member of the Senior Leadership Team, DSL for September 2024.
This is a key senior appointment reporting to the Headmistress, and the successful candidate will play an important role in whole school decision-making as part of the Senior Leadership Team, as well as taking the lead in pastoral care for pupils, and safeguarding matters (DSL) for the whole school. It is a prerequisite of the post that the candidate will be completely aware of, and keep up to date with, all guidance relating to safeguarding and to ensure that the school remains fully compliant in its safeguarding responsibilities.
We aim to appoint a colleague who will involve themselves whole-heartedly across our community advancing our reputation for pastoral care.
Suitable qualified and experienced candidates should apply setting out clearly how they meet both the leadership criteria for the role as well as their professional experience within safeguarding.
