School Nurse

School Nurse

We are looking to appoint an experienced and confident part time School Nurse to work 14 hours during Term Time (35 weeks) plus 2 weeks out of term.

In liaison with our Lead Nurse, and the rest of the nursing team, the School Nurse will share responsibility for the health needs of all our pupils, administering first aid, undertaking health assessments, and promoting health education.

The successful candidate must be an RGN/RN, hold NMC registration, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate clear empathy and understanding. As you will be working independently at times, a professional and competent presence is essential. Experience of working with children is also important, as is a knowledge of relevant compliance relating to schools.

We are looking to recruit a Deputy Head – Pastoral and Safeguarding Member of the Senior Leadership Team, DSL for September 2024.

This is a key senior appointment reporting to the Headmistress, and the successful candidate will play an important role in whole school decision-making as part of the Senior Leadership Team, as well as taking the lead in pastoral care for pupils, and safeguarding matters (DSL) for the whole school. It is a prerequisite of the post that the candidate will be completely aware of, and keep up to date with, all guidance relating to safeguarding and to ensure that the school remains fully compliant in its safeguarding responsibilities.

We aim to appoint a colleague who will involve themselves whole-heartedly across our community advancing our reputation for pastoral care.

Suitable qualified and experienced candidates should apply setting out clearly how they meet both the leadership criteria for the role as well as their professional experience within safeguarding.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher to join our Mathematics Department at Box Hill School. Applications from Early Career teachers as well as more experienced teachers would be welcome.
