Drama at Box Hill provides students with a wide range of opportunities to pursue their interest in the Theatre Arts. In the lower school all pupils have one practical lesson a week. At key stage 4, students follow the Cambridge University’s IGCSE course and in the sixth form IB Theatre is studied. In addition to curriculum drama the department runs a number of activities, theatre visits, workshops and productions. Pupils are encouraged to participate both on and off stage.

Speech and Drama lessons are available for all interested pupils and are taught on a one to one basis by Mrs Caroline Lowe. There are two exam sessions a year and pupils regularly achieve excellent results. Students also have the opportunity to perform their pieces for parents and friends in the recently refurbished Drama Studio.
