Senior IT Technician

Senior IT Technician
Required: January 2023

We are looking to recruit a full time Senior IT Technician from January 2023 to ensure the highest standards in the delivery of IT Support services to students and staff. Reporting to the Head of IT services, you will be joining a small, dynamic and friendly IT Support team. You will be supporting users on a variety of issues and will be working on a diverse range of technologies.

Contract type: Full time

Teacher of Business Studies

Teacher of Business Studies
Required: January 2023 (April 2023 start would be considered)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well qualified Teacher of Business Studies to join the department at Box Hill School from January 2023. The successful candidate will be able to teach Business to all year groups (10 -13) to which the school delivers the subject. Experience in teaching IB Business Management would be an advantage, as would the ability to teach Economics.

Rugby Coach

Rugby Coach
Required: January 2023

We are looking for an enthusiastic knowledgeable and confident Rugby coach to support the schools growing Rugby programme effective from January 2023.

The role would suit either male or female candidates, perhaps seeking to develop their coaching career with pupils aged 11-18. Those without a rich playing background should not be put off in applying.

The post will specifically cover activity periods on Tuesday 14.35-16.30 and Wednesday 13.30-16.30). The role will commence in January 2023 and continue through the Lent term (excluding half term break) to April 2023.

CAREERS ADVISOR

Careers Advisor
Required: January 2023

We are looking for a Careers Advisor to lead and provide an effective careers education, information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG) service to the pupils at Box Hill school. The Careers Advisor would deliver careers information advice, guidance, and support to pupils, to assist them in exploring career ideas, reviewing options, establishing realistic career action plans and helping them to develop their employability skills and progression routes.

Contract type: Part time, term time only

Contract term: Permanent

TEACHER OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

Teacher of Computer Science
Required: January 2023

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our successful Computer Science Department, applications from Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome.  The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge of the theory of Computer Science while at the same time be comfortable teaching programming skills from novice level all the way up to A Level in preparation for online coding papers that have been introduced into this year’s specification.

OPERATIONS TEAM MEMBER

We are looking to recruit a full time Operations Team Member
Required: as soon as possible
35 hours per week / 52 weeks per year 

An opportunity exists to join our Operational Support Team. This role is for someone who prides themselves on providing an efficient service to ensure that the needs of a busy boarding school are met. The Operational Support Team are crucial in delivering logistical requirements such as school events, laundry and post management. They are also responsible for housekeeping, ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained across the school, including classrooms, offices and boarding houses.

Package includes a competitive salary, meals in the school dining room, use of the pool and gym, cycle to work scheme, workplace pension scheme and staff parking.

The safeguarding responsibilities for this post include continued updated training relating to child protection and safeguarding relating to employees working in regulated activity.
